Technical Notes 2021, Issue 33 - Committee Cycle – Outstanding Business Statements

  1. The purpose of this technical note is to update Members on the Outstanding Business Statements (OBS) for Council and the service Committees.
     
  2. Members will be aware that the Council meeting schedule has been impacted by the operational response to COVID-19 pandemic and the recent election.  Decision-making has taken place via delegated reports or at meetings of the Council.
     
  3. Members will also be aware that a cycle of meetings will commence next week and run through to the end of June.

Property Maintenance

Gas Safety inspections are ongoing with all properties having their annual service carried out within the anniversary date. We continue to closely monitor inspections with warrants being sought to access properties as and when required to ensure ongoing compliance across our housing stock.

Technical Notes 2021, Issue 60 - Absence Performance: Quarter 4 2020/2021

1. The purpose of this Technical Note and its Appendix is to update Elected Members on absence performance for Quarter 4 2020/21.

2. The table below includes an overview of trends over previous years, as well as individual quarterly performance.

3. Analysis has shown attendance performance in Quarter 4 2020/21 has seen a reduction in absence for the Council as a whole when compared to Quarter 3 2020/21 and Quarter 4 2019/20.

Technical Notes 2021, Issue 54 - Planning Permission Appeal: Site of South Crosshill Road Bishopbriggs G64 2lZ

 

1. The purpose of this Technical Note is to update Elected Members on a notice of intention issued by the reporter considering the appeal following the refusal by the Planning Board of application TP/ED/19/0816 for the proposed residential development comprising 158 units in a mix of flats and town houses with associated car parking and access from South Crosshill Road, refuse and cycle storage and formation of additional car parking spaces to the rear of the existing library at the site of South Crosshill Road Bishopbriggs.
