Technical Notes 2021, Issue 01 - Elected Member Technical Note Financial Monitoring at Period 10

1. The purpose of this technical note is to provide Members with all Financial Monitoring Reports for Period 10 ending 24 January 2020.

2. These Reports would otherwise be reported through the Policy & Resources Committee or Place, Neighbourhood and Corporate Assets Committee however are being discharged via technical note due to current circumstances.

3. Recommendations are for Members to Note the contents of the Reports which will be the final monitoring reports prior to the financial year end positon.

Technical Notes 2021, Issue 43 - Placing Requests May 2021

1. The purpose of this technical note is to provide Elected Members with an update to the annual Education Placing Request allocation.

2. All Placing Requests received by the Council for the deadline of 15th March 2021 have been processed. The letter confirming or refusing a place has been emailed to each parent/carer that submitted an application. These letters were emailed on the 4th May 2021 (Secondary) and 5th May 2021 (Primary).

Technical Notes 2021, Issue 39 - Wildflower Meadow Creation

  1. The purpose of this Technical Note is to provide Elected Members with information on the types and locations of wildflower meadows to be created in 2021/22 across East Dunbartonshire. There is a mix of meadow types proposed. These are:
  1. Native traditional meadows – created by clearing the site and sowing with a native wildflower meadow mix. These meadows include both grasses and wildflowers.

Technical Notes 2021, Issue 41 - Elected Member Q&A Session

Details:

1. Elected Members will be aware that due to the recent Scottish Parliament Election, our next fortnightly services update is due this Friday, 21 May 2021 and will provide a comprehensive update on service delivery across Council services.

2. Additionally, and given the recent changes to the COVID-19 restrictions, an Elected Member Question & Answer session with the Corporate Management Team, has been arranged for Monday 24 May 2021 at 3pm.

Power cut in Bishopbriggs

There have been reports of a power cut in the G64 postcode area of Bishopbriggs affecting Younger Quadrant, Emerson Road and the surrounding streets. @SPEnergyNetwork are aware of the fault and have alerted their emergency response teams.
