Technical Notes 2021,Issue 81, Nithsdale Crescent - Compulsory Purchase Order Inquiry details

  1. The purpose of this technical note is to provide an update in relation to the Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) proceedings at Nithsdale Crescent in Bearsden.
     
  2. Members will be aware that the Council has been working towards the regeneration of a site a Nithsdale Crescent and resolved to compulsorily purchase 4 flatted properties at Nithsdale Crescent, following prolonged attempts to negotiate a purchase.  The CPO is now proceeding to a public inquiry before a Reporter of the DPEA (Planning and Environmental Appeals Division, Scottish Government).
     

Technical Notes 2021, Issue 80 - General Fund Capital Programme 2020/21 – Outturn Position

  1. On 29th June 2021, Council agreed that the Unaudited Accounts for 2020/21 should be passed to external auditors to initiate the audit process and for final Audited Accounts being presented to a future meeting of the Council’s Audit & Risk Committee before the end of October 2021 (Report ref: CFO/10/21/JR).
     
  2. In relation to the General Fund Capital Programme 2020/21, paragraph 9.3 advised the final outturn represents a underspend within general capital equating to £3.071m against the revised budget’.
     

Technical Notes 2021, Issue 77 - Mugdock Country Park – General Update, March-June 2021

In the temporary absence of the Mugdock Joint Management Committee (JMC) the purpose of this Technical Note is to provide members of the JMC with an update on the work undertaken at Mugdock Country Park in the period following the previous update of 9th March 2021 to 28th June 2021 and is intended to allow Committee members to note the content and raise any questions directly to the Executive Officer for Roads & Environment.

Technical Notes 2021, Issue 79 - Reintroduction of Customer Services in Community Hubs

As facilities and services continue to reopen, plans are in place to reintroduce face-to-face customer services, by appointment only, through the four Community Hubs.

Members will be aware that currently the face-to-face element of registration services are being delivered by appointment only through Kirkintilloch Community Hub, and the face-to-face element of Licensing is being delivered by appointment only through Bearsden Community Hub.

Technical Notes 2021, Issue 78 - Strategic Green Active Travel Network

  1. The purpose of this technical note is to explain the current status of the document ‘A Blueprint for the Green Network - Assessment of delivery opportunities: East Dunbartonshire’.  It responds to the question raised at PNCA Committee on 27 May 2021, in relation to Committee report PNCA/034/21/JW, regarding funding for delivery of projects contained in the Blueprint Assessment, and whether further information could be provided in relation to the timescale and issues for each project.
