This Technical Note will be published on the Council’s website following circulation to Members. Its contents may be disclosed or shared outwith the Council.
Details:
- The purpose of this technical note is to update Members on the Outstanding Business Statements (OBS) for Council and the service Committees.
- Members will be aware that the Council meeting schedule has been impacted by the operational response to COVID-19 pandemic and the recent election. Decision-making has taken place via delegated reports or at meetings of the Council.
- Members will also be aware that a cycle of meetings will commence next week and run through to the end of June.
- Given the time which has elapsed, since service committees last met, a number of items on the various OBS have been completed. In order to focus on outstanding actions, officers have identified those actions that are complete and these are listed on the attached Appendices 1 to 3. These actions will now be removed from the OBS and only live or current actions will be updated for the Committee cycle.
- In addition to the above, officers have reviewed the Council OBS in order to identify actions which in normal circumstances would sit with a services committee. It is proposed that these actions will be added to the OBS for the relevant service Committee. These are identified in Appendix 3
- Where Members have any questions or require further information relating to a completed action, then the identified Executive Officer should be approached in the first instance.
