 The alternative route for vehicles travelling northwards in Drymen Road will be by way of Ledcameroch Road, Whitehill Road, Thorn Road, Thorn Drive, Colquhoun Drive and then returning to Drymen Road.  Vehicles travelling southwards in Drymen Road should travel vice-versa.  Vehicles travelling westwards in Roman Road will be diverted via Douglas Place, New Kirk Road and then northwards only on Drymen Road.

Phase one – approximately one week

From Monday 11 September, three-way temporary traffic lights will be in place in the roundabout where the A803 Kirkintilloch Road and Crosshill Road meet. These lights will be manually controlled from 7am to 7pm to minimise inconvenience as much as possible.

Phase two – approximately two weeks

From Monday 18 September, four-way temporary lights will be in place at the smaller roundabout in Crosshill Road where vehicles enter Strathkelvin Retail Park. Again, the lights will be manually controlled from 7am to 7pm.

All of the businesses in the retail park and Burger King, will be open as normal throughout our project.

Phase three – approximately one week

From Monday 2 October, two-way temporary traffic lights will be in place in Crosshill Road, between the Strathkelvin Retail Park roundabout and the other entrance to the retail park’s car park.

Phase four – approximately one week

From Monday 9 October, three-way temporary traffic lights will be in place in Crosshill Road at the entrance to Strathkelvin Retail Park car park (not the roundabout entrance).

Notes

All businesses in the area will be open as normal.
