• Reason emergency works: BT is presently carrying out emergency repairs to a damaged frame/cover 
• Town: Lenzie
• Road affected: Boghead Road south of its junction with Heather Drive, Lenzie
• Duration: Starting 9 May 2025 and expected to be in place for 3 days
• Notes: In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, temporary two way traffic signals are being used to control traffic movements. The temporary traffic signals are being manually controlled between 7am and 7pm, each day.

• Reason emergency works: Scottish Water is presently carrying out emergency repairs to a burst water main  
• Town: Milngavie
• Road affected: Craigdhu Road at its junction with Crossburn Avenue
• Duration: Starting 6 May 2025 and expected to be in place until the end of the week
• Notes: In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, temporary three way traffic signals are being used to control traffic movements on Craigdhu Road at its junction with Crossburn Avenue. The temporary traffic signals are being manually controlled between 7am and 7pm, each day.

  4. Thorn Road, Bearsden, closed between its junctions with the A809 Drymen Road and Whitehill Road, Bearsden, The alternative routes will be by way of the A809 Drymen Road, Ledcameroch Road, Whitehill Road, Thorn Road, Thorn Drive and Colquhoun Drive, Bearsden, and these routes will be sign posted
  5. Collylinn Road, Bearsden, closed from its junction with the A809 Drymen Road westwards for a distance of 10 metres or thereby. The alternative routes will be by way of the A809 Drymen Road, Ledcameroch Road, Whitehill Road, Thorn Road, Thorn Drive, and Colquhoun Drive, Bearsden, and these routes will be sign posted.
• Duration: 6am on Monday 2 June 2025 until 6pm on Sunday 20 July 2025
• Notes: The temporary road closures will be carried out in various phases and at times two side roads will be closed at the one-time during phases of the SGN works. Access to the closed section of road will only be maintained for vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so during the works. There will be no access through the closed sections of road for emergency service vehicles. As part of the SGN works, rolling temporary two and three way traffic signals incorporating pedestrian crossing facilities as required will also be used to control traffic movements on the A809 Drymen Road, Bearsden, between its junctions with Campbell Drive and Ledcameroch Road, Bearsden, from 9.30am on Monday 2 June 2025 for approximately two months.  The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm, each day.

• Road affected: Duntocher Road, Bearsden, between its junction with Peel Glen Road and the East Dunbartonshire/West Dunbartonshire Council Boundary, just northeast of its junction with Faifley Road
• Duration: 6am on Sunday 18 May until 6pm on Sunday 1 June 2025
• Notes: The alternative routes are by way of the A810 Duntocher Road, the A809 Drymen Road, Bearsden, Canniesburn Toll Roundabout,  the A739 Switchback Road, Bearsden, Bearsden Road, Crow Road, the A82 Great Western Road, the A8014 Kilbowie Road, Hardgate, and the A810 Glasgow Road, and these routes will be signposted.  Vehicles exceeding the low railway bridge maximum height of 4.4 metres on the A739 Bearsden Road within Glasgow City Council’s area will be diverted by way of the A82 Great Western Road, Dorchester Avenue, Cleveden Road, Skaethorn Road, Cowal Road, and the A81 Maryhill Road, and these routes will be sign posted in advance, in both directions at Anniesland Cross and Canniesburn Toll Roundabout, Bearseden.

• Reason for closure: Contractor carrying out various groundworks including the formation of a new access. These works are associated with the new Cala Housing Development presently under construction. There are also repairs being carried out on the existing former railway bridge on Chryston Road, due to corrosion discovered during the site investigation
• Road affected: Chryston Road, Fauldhead, at a location to the east of its junction with Market Road, Kirkintilloch
• Duration: Sunday 22 September 2024 until 6pm on 17 September 2025
• Notes: In order to prevent danger to the public arising from damage to the structural integrity of the bridge over the former railway bridge and for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, East Dunbartonshire Council will require to extend the existing temporary road closure on Chryston Road Fauldhead, between its junctions with Market Road, Kirkintilloch, and Sauchenhall Road/Muckcroft Road from 6pm on Sunday 22 September 2024 until 6pm on Friday 31 March 2025

• Duration: 9.30am until 2.30pm, each day, from Monday 26 May 2025 until Friday 30 May 2025.
• Notes: All vehicles prohibited except vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so during the works. Alternative routes are by of Washington Road, Bellfield Road, Northbank Road, Alexandra Street, Cowgate, West High Street and the A803 Glasgow Road, Kirkintilloch, and these routes will be sign posted. • Notes: Alternative routes, will be by way of the B8048 Waterside Road, the A806 New Lairdsland Road, High Street, Eastside, Hillhead Road and Redbrae Road, Kirkintilloch, and these routes will be sign posted.  Internal diversion routes will also be sign posted.

• Duration: 9.30am on Tuesday 6 May 2025 till 20 May 2025
• Notes: In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, temporary three way traffic signals will be used. The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm, each day.

• Reason for temporary traffic management: Advance Construction Scotland is to carry out various works including new footway works, new drainage installations and a new temporary construction access

• Road affected: Auchinairn Road between a point east of its junction with Greenacres Roundabout and a point east of its junction with Auchinairn Roundabout
• Duration: 9.30am on Monday 3 March 2025 for a period of approximately three months
• Notes: In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, rolling temporary two, four and five way traffic signals incorporating pedestrian crossing facilities as required, will be used to control traffic movements.
  • Temporary two way traffic signals will be used to control traffic movements on the B812 Auchinairn Road east of its junction with Auchinairn Road, Bishopbriggs
  • Temporary five way traffic signals will be used to control traffic movements on the B812 Auchinairn Road at its junctions with Wester Lumloch Road, Miller Drive Robroyston Road at Auchinairn Roundabout, Bishopbriggs
  • Temporary two way traffic signals will be used to control traffic movements on the B812 Auchinairn Road from a point west of its junction with Auchinairn Roundabout to a point east of its junction with Greenacres Roudabout, Bishopbriggs
  • Temporary four way traffic signals will be used to control traffic movements on Miller Drive at Lumloch Drive, Smith Way at the roundabout, Bishopbriggs.
    
    The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm, each day.

• Notes: In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, rolling temporary two and four way traffic signals will be used to control traffic movements. The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled at all times. 

• Reason for temporary traffic management: A filming company is to carry out filming

• Road affected: A891 Strathblane Road
• Duration: 6.30am until 9.30pm on Wednesday 14 May 2025.
• Notes:  In order for the filming to be carried out in a safe manner, temporary two way traffic signals will be used to control traffic movements on the A891 Strathblane Road near its junction with Castleview, Haughead.
  

  The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled at all times.  The use of temporary traffic signals may result in delays to traffic in the area.

• Road affected: Kilsyth Road at the vehicular access to Caulders Garden Centre, Kirkintilloch
• Duration:9.30am on Thursday 29 May 2025 for approximately two weeks
• Notes: In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, temporary three way traffic signals will be used to control traffic movements. The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm, each day. 

• Reason for temporary traffic management: BT is to carry out works to overhead cables
• Town: Kirkintilloch
• Road affected:Campsie Road just southeast of its junction with the B822 Campsie Road
• Duration:9.30am until 3.30pm on Friday 16 May 2025
• Notes: The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled at all times. The use of temporary traffic signals may result in delays to traffic in the area.
  
  Advance warning notification signs will be erected on street one week prior to the start of the works.

• Reason for temporary traffic management: BT is to carry out pole replacement works
• Town: Lennoxtown
• Road affected: Crow Road near Roughcraig House
• Duration: 9.30am until 3.30pm on Friday 9 May 2025.  The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled at all times.  The use of temporary traffic signals may result in delays to traffic on Crow Road.
• Notes:In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, temporary two way traffic signals will be used to control traffic movements on Crow Road at the works location

• Reason for temporary traffic management: SPEN is to carry out cabling works
• Town: Lenzie
• Road affected: Boghhead Road at the Petrol Station
• Duration: From 9.30am on Monday 12 May till 26 May 2025
• Notes: In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, the existing pedestrian crossing facility will require to be switched off and temporary two way traffic signals incorporating pedestrian crossing facilities will be used. The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm, each day.  The use of temporary traffic signals may result in delays to traffic in the area.

• Reason for temporary traffic management: Scottish Water is to carry out water main network upgrade works 
• Town: Milngavie
• Road affected: Stockiemuir Road near Broadmeadow Road
• Duration: 9.30am on Tuesday 20 May 2025 for approximately one week
• Notes: In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, temporary two way traffic signals will be used to control traffic movements on Stockiemuir Road at the works location. The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm, each day. 

• Reason for temporary traffic restrictions: The Roads Service is to carry out carriageway surfacing works 
• Town: Lennoxtown
• Road affected: A891 Milton Road, Lennoxtown, between its junctions with Chestnut Walk and Benvue Road, Lennoxtown. 
• Duration: 8am until 8pm, each day, from Sunday 8 June 2025 until Sunday 15 June 2025
• Notes: In the interests of safe working practice, it has been agreed that convoy working will be used as a mean of traffic control.
  In order to facilitate convoy working, East Dunbartonshire Council will require to introduce a temporary 10 mph speed limit on the A891 Milton Road, Lennoxtown, between its junctions with Chestnut Walk and Benvue Road, Lennoxtown.
  As part of the carriageway resurfacing works temporary traffic signals incorporating pedestrian crossing facilities as required will be used to control traffic movements on the A891 Milton Road, Lennoxtown, between its junctions with Chestnut Walk and Benvue Road, Lennoxtown, from 8am on Sunday 8 June 2025 until 8pm on Sunday 15 June 2025.  The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm, each day, as part of the convoy working.  

• Reason for temporary traffic restrictions:  Introducing 2 temporary traffic orders. No prohibition of right turns, a temporary 30 mph speed limit, and temporary no waiting at any time restrictions
• Town: Torrance
• Road affected: From the A807 Torrance Road, Torrance, into the private access at Bogton Field, Torrance.
  Vehicles travelling on the A807 Torrance Road which can not turn right into Bogton Field should proceed northwestwards on the A807 Torrance Road then proceed in a clockwise direction around Kelvinbridge roundabout then turn left into the A807 Torrance Road then proceed southeastwards on the A807 Torrance Road then turn left into the private access to Bogton Field
  From the private access at Bogton Field, Torrance, into the A807 Torrance Road, Torrance.
  Vehicles leaving Bogton Field, Torrance, should turn left into the A807 Torrance Road then proceed southeastwards on the A807 Torrance Road then proceed in a clockwise direction around Torrance roundabout then turn left into the A807 Torrance Road then proceed northwestwards on the A807 Torrance Road
  
  In the interests of road safety, reducing the existing speed limit from 60 mph to 30 mph on the A807 Torrance Road, between its junctions with Torrance roundabout and Kelvinbridge roundabout
  
  In addition,  there will be no waiting at any time restrictions on the A807 Torrance Road, between its junctions with Torrance roundabout and Kelvinbridge roundabout.
• Duration: 7am until 9pm  on Saturday 7 June 2025.

Town: Bearsden - EDC Roads Operations is to carry out footway resurfacing works.
Road affected: West side of the A81 Milngavie Road, between its junctions with MacFarlane Road and Kessington Road.
Duration: 9.30am on Monday 28 April till the 26 May 2025
Notes: In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, rolling temporary traffic signals incorporating pedestrian crossing facilities will be used to control traffic movements on Milngavie Road, Bearsden, between its junctions with Manse Road and Mosshead Road, Bearsden. The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled between 7am and 7pm, each day. 

The use of temporary traffic signals may result in delays to traffic in the area.

In addition, as part of the footway resurfacing works, I have attached temporary side road closures which will be in place on Gray Drive, Ferguston Road and Carrickarden Road, Bearsden.

Advance warning notification signs will be erected on street one week prior to the start of the works for both the temporary traffic management and temporary road closures.

Reason for footpath closure: Scottish Water is to carry out water main replacement works
Town: Kirkintilloch -
Road affected:unnamed public footpath adjacent to Freeland Place/Luggiebank Road, Kirkintilloch.
Duration: 6am on Monday 23 June until 6pm on Sunday 3 August 2025
Notes: In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, a section of the existing footpath will require to be closed between Freeland Place/Luggiebank Road northeastwards for a distance of 55 metres or thereby at the existing underpass beneath the A806 New Lairdsland Road, Kirkintilloch, which runs adjacent to the Forth and Clyde Canal, from 06.00 hours on Monday 23 June 2025 until 18.00 hours on Sunday 3 August 2025.

Alternative routes for pedestrian will be by way of existing footpath network within Luggie Park, the existing underpass near the A806 Initiative Road/Parliament Road, existing footways on Parliament Road, Townhead, and Freeland Place, Kirkintilloch, and these routes will be sign posted.
