- Notes: The temporary road closures will be carried out in various phases and at times two side roads will be closed at the one-time during phases of the SGN works. Access to the closed section of road will only be maintained for vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so during the works. There will be no access through the closed sections of road for emergency service vehicles. As part of the SGN works, rolling temporary two and three way traffic signals incorporating pedestrian crossing facilities as required will also be used to control traffic movements on the A809 Drymen Road, Bearsden, between its junctions with Campbell Drive and Ledcameroch Road, Bearsden, from 9.30am on Monday 2 June 2025 for approximately two months. Vehicles exceeding the low railway bridge maximum height of 4.4 metres on the A739 Bearsden Road within Glasgow City Council’s area will be diverted by way of the A82 Great Western Road, Dorchester Avenue, Cleveden Road, Skaethorn Road, Cowal Road, and the A81 Maryhill Road, and these routes will be sign posted in advance, in both directions at Anniesland Cross and Canniesburn Toll Roundabout, Bearseden.

Vehicles on the north side of the closure should proceed southwestwards then southwards on the A803 Kirkintilloch Road then eastwards on Colston Road then northwards and eastwards on the B812 Auchinairn Road then northwards on Crowhill Road to the south side of the closure

- Duration: This will be carried out in 3 phases

Internal routes will also be sign posted. The temporary road closure will be rolling and will be carried out under various phases.
- Reason for closure: Contractor carrying out various groundworks including the formation of a new access. These works are associated with the new Cala Housing Development presently under construction. There are also repairs being carried out on the existing former railway bridge on Chryston Road, due to corrosion discovered during the site investigation
- Road affected: Chryston Road, Fauldhead, at a location to the east of its junction with Market Road, Kirkintilloch
- Duration: Sunday 22 September 2024 until 6pm on 17 September 2025
- Notes: In order to prevent danger to the public arising from damage to the structural integrity of the bridge over the former railway bridge and for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, East Dunbartonshire Council will require to extend the existing temporary road closure on Chryston Road Fauldhead, between its junctions with Market Road, Kirkintilloch, and Sauchenhall Road/Muckcroft Road from 6pm on Sunday 22 September 2024 until 6pm on Friday 31 March 2025

Notes: In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, a section of the existing footpath will require to be closed between Freeland Place/Luggiebank Road northeastwards for a distance of 55 metres or thereby at the existing underpass beneath the A806 New Lairdsland Road, Kirkintilloch, which runs adjacent to the Forth and Clyde Canal, from 06.00 hours on Monday 23 June 2025 until 18.00 hours on Sunday 3 August 2025.
Alternative routes for pedestrian will be by way of existing footpath network within Luggie Park, the existing underpass near the A806 Initiative Road/Parliament Road, existing footways on Parliament Road, Townhead, and Freeland Place, Kirkintilloch, and these routes will be sign posted.
