Details:
- The purpose of this Technical Note is to update Members in relation to arrangements for reconvening the Planning Board meeting originally scheduled for 31st October 2023.
- Members will be aware that it was not possible for the Planning Board to meet on 31st October due to technical issues with the Public-I meeting system. These issues arose from an outage involving a BT exchange which, in turn, impacted the Public-I server. This is something that could not have been anticipated.
- In response to these issues the Convener resolved that the meeting should be reconvened on a new date so as to ensure public access to the meeting – at the time of cancelling approximately 9 members of the public were waiting to view the YouTube live stream.
- Following consultation with the Convener, the Planning Board will now take place at 4.30pm on Thursday 23rd November 2023. As normal it will be a hybrid meeting, allowing Members and Officers to participate remotely and in person. A new invite will be issued shortly.
- The Agenda for the reconvened meeting will remain the same as that for the meeting scheduled for 31st October and Members should use those papers. It is not intended to issue a fresh set of papers.
- Member should note that the meeting of the Policy & Resources Committee scheduled for the same day will follow at 5.30pm. In the event that Planning Board overruns then it will follow immediately thereafter.
