East Dunbartonshire Council needs your help to decide on the winning design to transform not one but two play areas in Bishopbriggs.

The Council is planning to upgrade its play parks at Meadowburn North and Doune Crescent in the town and residents are being offered the chance to vote for their favourite option from designs submitted by specialist companies.

You can now view the designs and vote for your favourite by visiting Bishopbriggs and Kirkintilloch Play Area Consultations

Joint Council Leader Vaughan Moody, said, "These two popular parks have been identified for upgrade. To ensure we're offering the highest standard of quality and choice to the community, we are presenting a variety of design options to residents.

"We want as many people as possible to have their say on what they'd like to see in the play area by taking part in a quick vote.

Joint Council Leader Andrew Polson, added, "The voting is on a one-vote-per-household basis and the design that has collected the most votes at the expiry of the deadline date will be the one that's installed.

"The voting will remain open from Monday 4 October until Sunday 17 October and votes cast after this deadline will not be counted."

Each of the choices has been designed to provide exciting and challenging play equipment for children of various ages.
