As you are aware, the Council is progressing with a move to monthly pay which will be implemented from 15 April 2025.
This will see all Council and EDLC Trust employees move to being paid monthly. There will be no changes to Teaching employees and those covered by SNCT, who are already paid on a monthly basis.
We outlined the transition arrangements for the move to monthly pay in a letter we sent in November last year. This explained that those who are currently paid four-weekly on a Tuesday will receive an automatic “bounce” payment for the transition between their final four weekly pay and their first monthly pay. This information is also published on the Move to monthly pay page on the Employee Zone.
If you are currently paid four-weekly on a Tuesday, please read the information in relation to “bounce” payments. If you feel you can manage the change in pay dates, and you would prefer not to receive and then repay the “bounce” payment, you can opt out of receiving this by completing the online form on the Move to monthly page page on the Employee Zone.
You need to opt out by Tuesday 25 February.
You can find more details on our move to monthly pay including FAQs on our dedicated move to monthly pay webpage.
Please refer to this in the first instance as it may answer any questions you may have. If you have any further questions, please send them directly to epqueries@eastdunbarton.gov.uk and one of the team will contact you as soon as possible with a response.
Thank you,
