Financial Awareness Sessions

After a positive turnout for the first three events, People Development and HR can now announce the next series of Financial Awareness sessions.

Aimed at all employees regardless of role or grade, the sessions will focus on valuable and helpful information that could help future financial decision making or lead to improved budget and money management.

Details of the sessions:

  • Retirement with Affinity Connect – Monday 21 October, 1-3.30pm – online (Teams). This is aimed at employees who are up to 10 years away from retirement. To book a place email peopledevelopment@eastdunbarton.gov.uk

There is no need to sign up in advance for any of the sessions other than the Affinity Connect event. Instead, attendees can just join online or in person on the day.

A version of the online sessions will be recorded and uploaded to Moodle over the coming weeks.

Additional drop-in sessions focusing on the move to monthly pay have also been arranged. You can find details of these on our dedicated Move to monthly pay webpage on the Employee Zone.

These will allow you to ask any questions you have regarding the move to monthly pay that is due to be implemented in April 2025.

If you would like any further information on any of the events, please email People Development at peopledevelopment@eastdunbarton.gov.uk

I would encourage everyone who is interested to attend and will confirm when the sessions are available on Moodle.

Thank you,
