| Consultation on the Increase of Early Learning and Childcare provision in 2020 |
Currently, free provision of early learning and child care is offered to all 3 and 4 year olds, as well as eligible 2 year olds. From August 2014, free provision increased to 600 hours per year, equivalent to around 16 hours per week if delivered during school term time. |
