    This Technical Note will be published on the Council’s website following circulation to Members. Its contents may be disclosed or shared out with the Council.

  • The Technical Note is to update Elected Members on the incident at Turnbull High School.
  • Officers and the school are continuing to work closely with Police Scotland to identify the person or people responsible for posting of these notes.  Based on the preliminary findings, Police Scotland are confident that there is no threat to the safety of pupils or staff. 
  • One of the notes shared is similar to notes that have been discovered across other schools outwith East Dunbartonshire.
  • We are unable to provide further details regarding an ongoing Police Scotland investigation at this time.  However, I am assured that the school leadership team and officers have the situation under control, and all pupils and staff are safe.
