Summary
The purpose of this consultation was to give residents the chance to have their say on the Council’s draft Greenspace Strategy 2026-31 by attending drop-in events and/or completing the online survey.
Background
The draft Strategy set out an ambitious vision for creating climate-resilient, nature-rich and inclusive greenspaces across East Dunbartonshire and local people were invited to help shape the final Strategy and its priorities for the future.
A summary of the draft Strategy, supporting documents and some Frequently Asked Questions were available for people to view before completing the online survey.
The consultation ran from Monday 3 August until Friday 25 September 2026.
Next Steps
The survey responses are being analysed by the service and the draft Strategy is being updated accordingly. A progress report will be presented to the next appropriate Place, Neighbourhood & Corporate Assets Committee.
