Active travel means travelling by walking, wheelchair or cycling.

The pages below outline the vision, priorities and targets for East Dunbartonshire’s new emerging Active Travel Strategy and four project themes that new active travel projects will deliver. The contents of the new strategy will be based on a review of national, regional and local policy, consultation with the people of East Dunbartonshire and a comprehensive assessment of East Dunbartonshire’s existing active travel assets.
