Important announcement

Due to operational issues we have had to suspend our food waste collection service for a number of streets in Milngavie and Bishopbriggs today.

If your food waste bin is not collected today, please take in your bin and present on the next collection day, Friday 14 November.

Brown and blue collections in a small number of streets in the Bishopbriggs and Kirkintilloch area are also affected. If your brown and blue bins has not been emptied today, please leave it on the kerbside for collection and it will be collected by the service at the earliest opportunity.

Our teams will be working hard to minimise the impact, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

LICENSING (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE LICENSING BOARD

The following applications have been lodged with East Dunbartonshire Licensing Board for the Grant of an Occasional Licence.

Further detailed information in regard to these applications is available for inspection by appointment at the Licensing Board Offices, Broomhill Industrial Estate, Kilsyth Road, Kirkintilloch, G66 1TF between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Any person is eligible to object or make representation. Anyone wishing to do so must, not later than the date stated against each application, lodge with the Clerk to the Licensing Board a written notice of their objection/representation. It is the responsibility of the person making the objection/representation to ensure that the Board has received it by the date stated and it may be helpful to lodge it in one of the following ways:

  • Delivered by hand;
  • Posted (by registered post or recorded delivery or special delivery post) so that in the normal course of post it might be expected to be delivered by the date stated;
  • Faxed and an acknowledgement of the fax kept (fax no 0141 578 8468); or
  • Emailed and an acknowledgement of the e-mail kept (liquor.licensing@eastdunbarton.gov.uk)
    It is the responsibility of the person making the objection or representation to ensure that the Licensing Board has received it.

Please note that any Notice of Objection and/or Representation intimated to the Licensing Board by any person shall be copied to the Applicant in its entirety, inclusive of all personal details contained in said Notice as required by S.22(3)(a) of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.
