Graham BowmanGraham Bowman

"Having been teaching in East Dunbartonshire for over 14 years, I love helping children develop a positive attitude to numbers and maths through fun and exciting learning experiences. I’m really excited to be a part of the Count Me In team and look forward to providing these same opportunities to adults as well!"

Amanda Hudson

"Hi, my name is Amanda Hudson. I have been a teacher for 22 years and I am enthusiastic about Amanda Hudsonmaking maths fun. During lockdown I enjoyed connecting with families to help support their child with maths by providing videos demonstrating how we teach maths in school today. I am a mum of two and I totally understand that the first step in reconnecting with learning can seem daunting. I would like to reassure anyone that many adults I have worked with find today's methods can make numbers make more sense! I am excited to be working with adults as part of the Count Me In team to help build confidence with numbers in a relaxed environment. Please do not be afraid to ask me any questions about how I can help you."

Karen LewisKaren Lewis

"Hi, my name is Karen and I have been teaching in East Dunbartonshire for the past 14 years. I am passionate about making learning fun and developing a growth mindset, especially around maths. Having attended a maths conference as part of my Professional Learning, I am confident that we can change the maths mindset of many adults who feel they simply “can’t do maths”. I am excited about this new project and how it could help shape future prospects for the adults and families in our community."

Joy RobertsJoy Roberts

"I have been teaching in East Dunbartonshire my entire career and enjoy sharing my love and enthusiasm for Numeracy with children. This project gives me the opportunity to work as part of a fantastic team to share this passion with adults and families across East Dunbartonshire."
