Manage your Council Tax online

You can view and manage your council tax information online by setting up a mygov myaccount. The registration process will only take a few minutes. You will also require your latest Council Tax bill.

Once you have signed up you will be able to

  • Opt in for paperless billing (e-billing)
  • Set up or amend your Direct Debit
  • Check your balance, see instalments due and payments received
  • Update your personal details
  • View bills online (or print them when you need them for proof or evidence)
  • Access issued reminders and summary warrants
  • See Council Tax Reduction and Housing Benefit claim information

You do not need to register if you want to 

  • Set up a Direct Debit
  • Change your address or tell us you’re moving
  • Search for a Council Tax band
  • Apply for discounts
  • If you are a landlord, tell us about tenancy changes
