Parking Charges - updated July 2024
Parking charges are currently in place in nine car parks in East Dunbartonshire.
Charging times have been kept to a minimum, Monday to Saturday 9am to 5.30pm, with no restrictions in the evenings or on Sundays.
The charges are:
- 0-2 hours - £2
- 2-3 hours - £3
- 3-4 hours - £4
- Over 4 hours - £6
Please note a valid pay & display ticket requires to be displayed at all times within the car park or a valid PayByPhone session purchased.
Please also note, Blue Badge holders can park for free in all of East Dunbartonshire's Council car parks - even where charges are in place and regardless of whether it is in a disabled bay as long as a valid disabled badge is properly displayed. You do not have to obtain a pay & display ticket or cashless PayByPhone session.
The car parks where charges apply are: Roman Road and Bearsden Hub (Bearsden); Barleybank and William Patrick Library (Kirkintilloch); Douglas Street, Mugdock Road, Stewart Street North and Woodburn Way (Milngavie); and Kenmure Drive (Bishopbriggs).

This Order introduces an amendment to the methods of payment of parking charges that apply between the hours of 9am and 5.30 pm, Monday to Saturday inclusive, to allow for electronic payments to be made.
