East Dunbartonshire Council needs your help to decide on the winning design to transform a play area in Kirkintilloch.

The Council is planning to upgrade its play area at Woodhead Park in the town and residents are being offered the chance to vote for their favourite design from two options.

You can now view the designs and vote for your favourite.

Joint Council Leader Andrew Polson, said, "To ensure we're offering the highest standard of quality and choice to the community, we are presenting a variety of design options to residents. We want as many people as possible to have their say on what they'd like to see in the play area by taking part in a quick vote.

"Woodhead Park is a popular, well-used park, but has been identified as requiring an upgrade following incidents of vandalism which have deprived children of the use of several pieces of equipment."

Joint Council Leader Vaughan Moody, added, "The voting is on a one-vote-per-household basis and the design that has collected the most votes at the expiry of the deadline date will be the one that's installed.

"The voting will remain open from Monday 4 October until Sunday 17 October. Votes cast after this date will not be counted."

Each of the choices has been designed to provide exciting and challenging play equipment for children of various ages.
