Following a number of previous successful stage adaptations of radio plays including Frankenstein and A Christmas Carol, No Nonsense Productions theatre company returns to the Bearsden venue with Dracula: The Radio Play.

Presented as a 1950s radio play on stage, this chaotic comedic adaptation features live sound effects and period music. Onstage two plucky 1950s radio actors play dozens of characters and re-tell Bram Stoker’s classic story.

Councillor Jim Gibbons, Chair of EDLC Trust, added, "We are delighted to welcome No Nonsense Productions back to Kilmardinny House following their success here with A Christmas Carol and Frankenstein which were both very well-received by those who attended them.

“Kilmardinny House and Arts Centre, with its beautiful Georgian architecture and stunning grounds is the perfect venue to bring this atmospheric period play to life and there is ample free parking on-site.

“For those too afraid to see this comedy of terrors in the dark, there is a matinee performance at 2.30pm in addition to the evening show at 7.30pm.

I would encourage everyone who can, to take this opportunity to enjoy some fang-tastic theatre with plenty of bite right on our doorstep. It would be a grave mistake to miss it.
