The talented actor behind one of Scotland's most famous shopkeepers is ready to serve up laughs, stories and TV trivia in Kirkintilloch.
Sanjeev Kohli starred as Navid in the legendary BBC/Netflix comedy show 'Still Game' and he's on his way to East Dunbartonshire.
'An Evening with Sanjeev Kohli' is taking place in Kirkintilloch Town Hall on Saturday 15 November 2025, starting at 7.30pm.
The up-close-and-personal show promises to be full of fun and laughter as he talks about his career – including secrets and behind-the-scenes stories from his time on 'Still Game' – as well as taking questions from the audience.
Sanjeev also appeared in 'Gary Tank Commander', 'Look Around You' and the BAFTA-nominated 'Fresh Meat'. In addition, he wrote for shows including 'Chewin’ the Fat' and 'Goodness Gracious Me'.
Councillor Jim Gibbons – Chair of East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture Trust, which operates Kirkintilloch Town Hall – said, "Previous events featuring performers from 'Still Game' have been very popular – don't miss out.
It's a chance to hear stories and anecdotes from the making of one of Scotland's most iconic shows, as well as an opportunity to learn more about a fascinating life and career.
