Over the next few weeks, the East Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) will be looking for your views on how its services should look over the coming year and where its valuable financial resources should be targeted.
If you live, work or volunteer in the area then your views are important and you are being invited to take part in a short online survey*. If you have experience of using the HSCP’s services then your opinions matter so please have your say.
The HSCP budget consultation is being held to help inform its budget-setting process for 2026/27 at a time when there is extreme financial pressures across the public sector. It will run from Monday 24 November – Sunday 21 December 2025.
Like last year, there will be fundamental and unavoidable changes, with projected savings required to be made by the HSCP of between £7.6 million and £13.3 million each year from 2024/25 onwards.
Libby Cairns, Chair of East Dunbartonshire HSCP Board, said, "We face a challenging financial situation but remain committed to providing the people of East Dunbartonshire with the very best services possible when they need us. Our dedicated teams work throughout the area, supporting individuals and families at all ages and stages of life, offering vital help and advice.
“To support that work, we must achieve a balanced budget and target our scarce resources where they are needed most. We need the input of local people who use our services, work with us or work for us to help guide that process. Everyone’s views matter and we will consider all feedback when reviewing the budget and setting out the plan for the coming year.”
