Where Communities Count

At Scotwest, we recognise the important role we can play within society.

We were delighted to receive an update recently from the Menopause Warriors Scotland Charity after their Community Award was granted last December

Group organisers Jacqui and Caroline said “We had a fantastic event with about 50 attendees for Breaking the Silence; Black Women in Menopause on the 13 September 2025 in Govan. We were able to put the event on thanks to the costs being covered by the kind grant that Scotwest provided."

Find out more about the group including their regular drop in sessions at Braehead Shopping Centre, Elderpark, Parkhead and Woodside Libraries here.

Coming Soon: Open Banking

We’re making it quicker and easier to apply for a Scotwest loan by introducing open banking.

This allows you to safely and securely share your financial information with us electronically, so there’s no need to provide bank statements or proof of income.

With your permission, we’ll access what we need directly helping us make faster decisions on your application.

When this feature becomes available, you’ll have the option to use open banking through our partner oohMoolah during the application process. Simply follow the prompts to complete the requested information and we’ll take care of the rest. If you prefer not to use open banking you can still apply the usual way by uploading your documents manually however this will slow-down the assessment of your loan.
