An overview of the recruitment and selection process is detailed below:
Process Key Activites

Application process 

Prospective candidates will be required to submit: 

  • A relevant CV (not Council application form) 
  • Statement in support of application demonstrating suitability for the role they are applying for  
  • A written submission to a set question. 

Closing Date: 5pm on Tuesday 28 January 2025 

Shortlisting process 

The shortlisting process will be conducted by the Executive Officer – Assets & Facilities and the Estates & FM Manager. 

Candidate submissions will be assessed against:  

  • The role profile 
  • A competency assessment of the supporting statement  
  • Defined criteria to assess the set question response. 

Candidates will be shortlisted and invited to a final interview. 

Interview process

Competency-based interview conducted by the Estates & FM Manager and Development & Investment Manager. 

Selection process 

Selection decisions will be made based on the assessment of:  

  • CV 
  • Support statement demonstrating suitability for role 
  • Written response to set question 
  • Performance through interview process.
