Employee News

We are launching our ‘Your Voice Matters’ Employee Survey 2024 today. In the survey,

we ask a number of questions to get your views on the following five key themes:

  • Leadership
  • Communication and Engagement
  • Management
  • Teamwork
  • Wellbeing

We aim to run our Employee Survey every two years, and it last ran in 2022. The high-level findings were reported to Council, and more detailed analysis, by strategic service areas, was shared with Executive Officers and informed both the Workforce Strategy and the Workforce Action Plans.

The survey should only take a few minutes to complete, and the results will give an understanding of how you feel about the role you carry out, the team you work in and working for the Council. The survey is anonymous and you will only be asked which service area you work in.

We’ll publish the findings of the survey on the Employee Zone in the new year, and the findings will continue to inform our Workforce Action Plans for the year ahead.

How to take part

The survey is available for you to take part on the Employee Zone of the Council website

It can be completed from any device, and in addition to the link in this Employee News, there are posters in key work locations with QR codes that can be scanned to take you to the survey.

Timeline

The survey is now live and will run for three weeks until Friday 13 December 2024.

Please take the time to respond, we really want to hear your views.

Thank you
