Employee Pay Awards 2024
Following a COSLA Leaders meeting this month, COSLA has confirmed that the 2024 Pay Award for the Local Government workforce should now be implemented.
The new payrates have been issued and the Council gave a commitment that if confirmation to pay this was received by 4 October, that payment would be made before Christmas.
The tables below confirm the payment dates for when the uplift to salary scales will be paid and when the arrears (backpay) to the date the pay rise applies from will be paid.
