Role: Team Leader Planning (Development Applications)
Grade: Grade 9

Process Key Activities

Application process

Prospective candidates will be required to submit:

  • A relevant CV (not EDC application form)
  • Statement in support of application demonstrating suitability for the role they are applying for
  • A written submission to a set question

Closing Date: 5pm, Wednesday 4 September 2024

Short-listing Process

Short-listing process will be conducted by the Development Application Manager.

Candidate submissions will be assessed against:

  • The role profile
  • A competency assessment of the supporting statement
  • Defined criteria to assess the set question response

Candidates will be shortlisted and invited to an interview.

Interview process

Competency-based interview conducted by the Executive Officer – Land Planning & Development and Development Application Manager.

The interview will incorporate a presentation from the candidate on a pre-set topic.

Selection Process

Selection decisions will be made based on the assessment of:

  • CV
  • Support statement demonstrating suitability for role
  • Written response to set question
  • Performance through interview process
