You will be aware that tomorrow is Polling Day in the UK Parliament General Election.

All voters MUST show photo ID at the polling place when voting.

Failure to provide suitable photo ID will result in you being unable to vote, so make sure you are prepared in time.

Please note there are no exceptions to this. If you are working at a Polling Place tomorrow and have arranged to vote there, you will only be able to cast your vote if you have photo ID with you.

If you have registered for a Postal Vote and have not received it, please contact the Elections Team as a matter of urgency at Elections@eastdunbarton.gov.uk

This is so a replacement pack can be issued to you in time – the cut off for this is 5pm tomorrow (Thursday.)

If you have not yet returned your Postal Vote, you can hand it in at the Council’s Headquarters today and tomorrow up to 5pm or hand it in at a Polling Place tomorrow. When doing so you must complete a returns form as without this, your vote will not be counted.

Thank you,

Ann Davie
Chief Executive
