Dear Colleagues,
East Dunbartonshire Council and partners have created a multi-agency group to take forward the Scottish Government’s pledge to ensure workplaces understand and respond to trauma experienced by employees and service users.
The multi-agency group is called East Dunbartonshire Adverse Childhood Experiences and Trauma Collaborative (EDATC). EDATC has provided support across Council services to improve the way in which services respond, support and provide care for people who have experienced trauma in their lives.

The Council has now appointed a Trauma Informed Practice Coordinator to continue to create, develop, implement and grow our trauma informed services over the next two years and beyond.
