Important announcement

Unforeseen operational resource challenges over the weekend mean that our food waste collection service is suspended today, Monday 3 November.

If your food waste bin was due to be emptied today, please take in your bin and present on the next collection day, Monday 10 November.

Green bin collections in a small number of streets in the Lenzie, Kirkintilloch and Bearsden area are also affected. If your green bin has not been emptied today, please leave it on the kerbside for collection tomorrow, Tuesday 4 November.

Our teams will be working hard to minimise the impact, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

If you require the creation, amendment or deletion of any cost centre, subjective code, SEEMIS departmental code or Roads Capital Activity code in the Oracle FMS General Ledger coding structure then you must complete the attached forms.

This is a PDF's are protected from amendment other than in the required fields. If the field has a drop-down arrow to the right then you must select one of the options from the list; otherwise the field will accept free-form text. Once completed, save the form, attach it to an email and send it to the address opposite.

Completed forms will only be accepted from authorised officers, i.e. mainly Finance Team Leaders, Accountants and Accounting Technicians; the 'Requested by' field has already been pre-populated with the names of all current authorised requesters so simply select your name from the list.

For all cost centres and activity codes you must specify the relevant parent code it sits under in the hierarchical coding structure; if you are unsure please refer to the General Ledger coding structure document in the Related Content opposite.

The above form has space for up to 10 coding changes -  as the document is protected you will not be able to add in additional rows, therefore if you need to request more than 10 coding changes you can obtain a longer version of the form from the Oracle System Administrator using the email address opposite.
