A online exit questionnaire has been designed to allow employees to provide the Council with details of the reason they have resigned or left the organisation and will help to inform future planning for recruitment and retention.

The questionnaire has a set of 11 questions and a comments box for any feedback that employees want to leave that was not covered in the questions. The questionnaire is an online form that employees can access via the following link from any device:

Exit Questionnaire

Employees should be reassured that the questionnaire will only be viewed by employees within HR and the data will be anonymised for statistical purposes.

The intention of the questionnaire is to allow the Council to use this information to consider what improvements can be made to East Dunbartonshire Council. Where concerns are raised in the free text of the questionnaire the employee will be contacted by a HR Case Advisor to discuss in further detail and ascertain if a grievance is being raised.

Key Points:

  • All employees who end their employment with East Dunbartonshire Council will be asked to complete the questionnaire.
  • Completion of the questionnaire is voluntary and the data will only be viewed by HR employees
  • The data will be anonymised and used for statistics to understand how we can improve the organisations recruitment and retention
