If you wish to operate a sports ground in East Dunbartonshire which is not designated as requiring a safety certificate, you will still need a safety certificate, or to apply to change a safety certificate for a sports ground, for any covered stand that holds 500 or more spectators.

No. It is in the public interest that the Council must process your application before it can be granted. If you have not heard from us within two weeks of submitting the application, please contact us again.

If you wish to apply to change a safety certificate for a sports ground in East Dunbartonshire which is not designated as requiring a safety certificate, you will still require a safety certificate for any covered stand that holds 500 or more spectators.
