If you wish to temporarily deposit building materials, rubbish or other items in a road you must have our consent.

A fee of £53 is payable.  Please contact Customer Services for further information.

You must comply with any conditions attached to a consent and comply with requirements relating to the fencing off and lighting of deposits or excavations.

No. It is in the public interest that we must process your application before it can be granted. If you have not heard from us within a reasonable period, please contact us.

If you wish to extend your permit to temporarily deposit building materials, rubbish or other items in a road or make a temporary excavation, you must have our consent.

Fee

A permit extension is issued at no charge on a monthly basis up to a maximum of 3 months from the date of your original permit. If you wish to extend the permit beyond 3 months you must reapply for a new permit and a fee of £53 will be charged.
