Torrance Public Right of Way Investigation

Consultation is now closed.

The Council is carrying out a public right of way investigation in the Torrance area.

To qualify as a protected, public right of way, a path must:

• Run from one public place to another public place
• Follow a more or less defined line
• Have been used openly and peaceably by members of the public without the permission of the landowner
• Have been used without substantial and effective interruption for 20 years or more.
