The purpose of this Technical Note is to provide Elected Members with details of forthcoming CCTV drainage surveys and associated vegetation / shrub clearance works at Whitegates Park, Lenzie
Planned CCTV Drainage Surveys will be undertaken between Monday 25 May and Friday 29 May. The four areas that will be surveyed are shown as yellow and pink lines / orange boxes within the attached plan. Jetting works will also be undertaken within the culvert shown on the plan to remove any dirt, silt and debris
Part of the works will involve the limited clearance of vegetation / shrubs around a manhole which is located close to the Strathkelvin Railway Path. No trees will be felled, and a bird nesting survey has also been carried out in the area
The results of the survey will be used to inform the final detailed drainage design for the project.
