    This Technical Note will be published on the Council’s website following circulation to Members. Its contents may be disclosed or shared out with the Council.

  • The purpose of this Technical Note is to provide Elected Members with details of forthcoming CCTV drainage surveys and associated vegetation / shrub clearance works at Whitegates Park, Lenzie
  • Planned CCTV Drainage Surveys will be undertaken between Monday 25 May and Friday 29 May. The four areas that will be surveyed are shown as yellow and pink lines / orange boxes within the attached plan. Jetting works will also be undertaken within the culvert shown on the plan to remove any dirt, silt and debris
  • Part of the works will involve the limited clearance of vegetation / shrubs around a manhole which is located close to the Strathkelvin Railway Path. No trees will be felled, and a bird nesting survey has also been carried out in the area
  • The results of the survey will be used to inform the final detailed drainage design for the project.
