    This Technical Note will be published on the Council’s website following circulation to Members. Its contents may be disclosed or shared out with the Council.

  • The purpose of this Technical Note is to advise Elected Members of forthcoming consultation on the Council’s proposals for improvements to Oakburn Park, Milngavie.
  • In March 2026, Council approved a pre-construction budget to support the development of detailed proposals for Oakburn Park, Milngavie, including the installation of a new all-weather football pitch and improved changing facilities.
  • Ahead of an update report planned for Council in June 2026, Officers intend to hold a briefing session for elected members to share feasibility proposals at 11am on Tuesday 9 June via Teams call, with invitations to follow. Later that day, a drop-in consultation session for the general public will take place at the Milngavie Guide Hall between 4pm and 6pm.
  • The event will be publicised via the Council’s social media channels, on-site signage and by invitation to the Community Council and Leisure Trust stakeholders.
