  • The purpose of this Technical Note is to provide an update to Elected Members on the new outreach service to be delivered from Hillhead Community Centre by Regent Gardens Medical Centre of Kirkintilloch.
  • Encouraging access to services for patients/ people of Hillhead, who are registered with the Kirkintilloch based Medical Centre, will be enhanced by this partnership approach, and an arrangement with HSCP colleagues and the Community Planning Team. There is currently no GP provision in the Hillhead area.
  • The service will commence on 20 April 2026 and will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am until 12.30pm. Tuesday and Wednesday mornings will be GP appointments, and Thursday mornings will be the Practice Nurse. The service will be monitored over the first 6-12 months to ensure uptake by Hillhead patients/ people.
