  • This is the third in a series of Technical Notes to update Members on arrangements for the Scottish Parliamentary Elections which are scheduled to take place on Thursday, 7 May 2026.
  • A key date in the planning process is the Prospective Candidates Briefing which is scheduled for 4.30pm on Thursday, 12 March 2026. The purpose of the Briefing is to give prospective candidates an indication of what to expect over the next few weeks and what is required in terms of the nomination process. 
  • The Briefing session is online. Anyone wishing to attend should contact Lesley McKenzie to receive the link for the meeting.
