    This Technical Note will be published on the Council’s website following circulation to Members. Its contents may be disclosed or shared out with the Council.

  • The purpose of this technical note is to advise Elected Members of a temporary partial road closure that will be in place on Stirling Drive, Bishopbriggs in relation to the new build of Balmuildy Primary School and Early Years Centre.  The purpose of the closure is to allow the full reinstatement of the carriageway surface following works undertaken by Scottish Power during the school summer holiday period
  • The road will be temporarily restricted from its junction with Southesk Avenue, Bishopbriggs and its most eastern junction with Balmuildy Road, Bishopbriggs from 6am on Monday 12 October 2026 until 6pm hours on Friday 16 October 2026. This will provide safe, clear, continuous, unrestricted access for the Main Contractor for the duration of the works
  • Advance notice of the partial road closure on Stirling Drive will be communicated via a local newsletter drop, Balmuildy Primary School’s website/forum, on-site signage, the Council webpage and the Council’s social media channels.
