This Technical Note will be published on the Council’s website following circulation to Members. Its contents may be disclosed or shared outwith the Council.
The purpose of this technical note is to notify Members of a forthcoming Drainage Survey, associated with the Westerhill Development Road (WDR) project.
The survey will be undertaken by LANES Group and will begin on Monday, 12May for a period of 5 days.
Excavation of the kerbside along the northern section of the A803 between Marley Tiles and the Torrance Roundabout will be required in the first phase of the survey works. This is necessary to facilitate access to gullies which are currently inaccessible.
Following access to the gullies, information regarding pipe diameters and condition of the existing manholes and drainage runs will be retrieved for the WDR design team.
A site plan of the survey location has been appended to this note.
To ensure efficiency of the works, it will be necessary to incorporate temporary traffic lights. The temporary traffic lights will be supplied by APEX and will be in place for 5 days between 9.30am and 3.30pm. A permit has been granted by the Roads Service.
