Technical Notes 2025, Issue 212 - Council By-Election Ward 3 Bearsden South Key Dates (3)
- This is the latest in a series of Technical Notes to update Members on arrangements for the by-election in Ward 3 – Bearsden South
- Members will be aware that the By-election is scheduled to take place on Thursday 29 January 2026
- The timelines for the By-election are tight, not least due to the impending Christmas holidays, and there are numerous key dates which will be of interest to Members
- The Appendix to this Technical Note, attached below, sets out various key dates and deadlines between now and polling day. Some dates or times have still to be determined e.g. postal vote opening sessions. The timeline will be updated as arrangements are made, and Members will be updated accordingly
- If any Member has any questions regarding the By-election, please contact Karen Donnelly or Lesley McKenzie in the first instance.
