      This Technical Note will be published on the Council’s website following circulation to Members. Its contents may be disclosed or shared out with the Council.

    Details:

    1. The purpose of this Technical Note is to advise Elected Members of the commencement of works to install Cavity Wall Insulation around the Lennox and Park Avenue area of Milngavie.
    2. Works are due to commence on Monday 8th September for a period of approximately 12 weeks.  The project is led by the Council with a funding contribution through the Scottish Government’s Energy Efficiency Scotland: Area Based Schemes programme.
    3. The project will install Cavity Wall Insultation which will reduce heat loss and therefore improve energy efficiency of homes within the area.
    4. During the course of the project, agreement has been provided through Roads and Neighbourhood Services for a contractor storage and compound area to be erected at the car parking spaces between 21-28 Lennox Avenue and Milngavie United Free Church.
