  • At Council on Thursday 19th June, Members considered in private a report to revise the Council’s approved accommodation strategy which would have seen the Council vacate Southbank Marina and relocate its Headquarters to Southbank House.

  •

As per the recommendations within the report, which was approved by Members, the Council will now instead retain its Headquarters at Southbank Marina and vacate Southbank House

  •

The proposed move of HSCP/SW staff from Southbank House to the KHCC will progress as previously planned.  Southbank House will instead be retained as a non-operational asset and converted for commercial use with tenants sought for the suites therein

  •

Further information will be provided to all employees as the project progresses through the design phase in 2025 and into the implementation phase in 2026.
