The people of Bishopbriggs came together this weekend (16 May) for their annual Community Day and what a day it was!
The town was jumping with activities for young and old alike. There was music, live entertainment, street food, stalls, games, fair rides, dance, face-painting and so much more.
Provost Renwick attended the opening ceremony in the War Memorial Hall where it was her duty to thank the outgoing Bishopbriggs Youth Ambassadors from St. Matthew’s Primary and inaugurate the newcomers from St Helen’s Primary.
She said, “Bishopbriggs Community Day never disappoints. I had a great time at what was a brilliantly organised and well supported event. It was my privilege to thank the outgoing Ambassadors for all their hard work and then to welcome the new office bearers. I am looking forward to getting to know them over the next year.”
