Provost Renwick attended an event in Twechar regarding the launch of Cycling Without Age.
She said “I’ve been learning more about the work of Cycling Without Age and was impressed that you are operating in no less that 41 countries worldwide, with more than 80 branches in Scotland alone - and now in Twechar. Those are some very impressive numbers.
“Giving older people and those with limited mobility an opportunity to enjoy our beautiful outdoor spaces and get all the benefits that nature brings is a truly wonderful thing.
“I wish you every success here in Twechar and hope that you go from strength to strength.”
