Bishopbrigg’s Youth Ambassadors paid a visit to the Council HQ in Kirkintilloch today to meet and interview Provost Renwick and enjoy a tour of the Council Chambers.
The three pupils from St. Matthew’s Primary were inaugurated in their roles in May by Provost Renwick at the Bishopbriggs Community Day and have been getting stuck into the role since then. During their visit they interviewed the Provost to find out more about her role and the work of the Council.
She said, “It’s always a pleasure to welcome Bishopbriggs Youth Ambassadors and hear about the exciting work they are doing in their community. They had some interesting and insightful questions for me so I hope they enjoyed their day and learned a wee bit about local democracy in the process.”
