Baldernock Primary School welcomed Provost Gillian Renwick last week, as she paid a visit to senior pupils to talk about local democracy in East Dunbartonshire.
The children learned lots of information about East Dunbartonshire Council, the Council chambers in Kirkintilloch and the history behind the Provost’s Chains and the East Dunbartonshire Civic Crest. The Provost then quizzed the children on the subject and was thrilled so many got the correct answers. The Provost is pictured with the winning team who received certificates and goody bags!
