Provost Renwick laid a wreath at Bearsden War Memorial on behalf of the people of East Dunbartonshire today while Councillors attended events across the area.
She said, “It was an honour, on behalf of the people of East Dunbartonshire to lay a wreath at Bearsden War Memorial. It is so important that we remember the fallen at events like this.
“I’d like to thank Deputy Lieutenant Sandie Scott for her presence and to all the local groups and organisations who were represented in the official party and laid wreaths. Huge thanks also to the people of Bearsden who turned out in numbers to support the event.”
