It’s been a busy few days for Provost Renwick as she was called upon to switch on the Christmas lights (with a little help from some special guests) in Bishopbriggs, Kirkintilloch and Lenzie.
The crowds came out to see the trees lit up and the decorations come to life while enjoying local choirs, festive food, pipe bands, raffles, parades and visits from Santa and his elves. Many thanks to local community groups who organised the events and to everyone who turned up and got into the Christmas spirit.
