It was a stunner of a day when the people of Bishopbriggs came together for their annual Community Day.
Provost Renwick enjoyed the stalls and activities but not before she formally inaugurated the new Bishopbriggs Youth Ambassadors at a special ceremony.
She thanked the outgoing Ambassadors from Balmuildy Primary then welcomed the three new office bearers from St. Matthew’s Primary, saying, “Congratulations on being selected for this very important role. It will be such an exciting time for you as I know you have lots of fun and interesting things ahead of you as you represent the young people of Bishopbriggs.
“Don’t forget that you are here because people have seen talent in you and they know that you are going to do an excellent job in this special role.”
